Objective.

To modernise the VTS Communications brand, develop a high-converting website that simplifies complex service offerings, & execute a targeted social media campaign to increase brand awareness, educate the market, & drive lead generation in a competitive landscape.

Discovery & Market Positioning

In a technically complex & competitive market, my first step was to deeply understand VTS’s unique advantages & audience segments.

Stakeholder & Technical Workshops

Conducted sessions with leadership, marketing, & technical teams to grasp the full spectrum of services (Fiber, LTE, Business Solutions), network infrastructure, and key differentiators (e.g., local support, reliability, speed).

Audience Segmentation

Mapped the customer journey for distinct segments: residential users (focusing on speed, reliability, and ease of setup) & SMB clients (focusing on uptime, SLA-backed support, & scalability).

Competitive Audit

Analysed regional & national ISP branding & digital presence to identify a whitespace opportunity for VTS to own—positioning them as the modern, reliable, & community-focused provider.

Message Architecture

Developed core messaging pillars that translate technical specs into customer benefits (e.g., “No Buffering, Just Bliss,” “Your Business, Always Online”).

Brand Identity & Strategy

The new brand identity needed to convey speed, reliability, & modern connectivity, building immediate trust with a broad audience.

Logo & Visual Mark

Designed a refreshed logo & icon system that suggests connectivity, data flow, & network strength without using clichéd globes or wi-fi symbols. The mark is scalable for use from favicon to truck livery.

Colour Palette

Selected a confident & energetic core palette, using blues for trust and stability, accented by a vibrant colour for calls-to-action & to symbolise speed & innovation.

Typography

I chose a typeface pairing that balances technical precision (a clean, readable sans-serif) with approachable warmth to make the brand feel both advanced & human.

Iconography & Visual Language

Developed a custom suite of icons to clearly represent internet speeds, service tiers, & coverage areas, making complex information easily digestible.

Brand Application

Extended the identity across all physical & digital touchpoints, including vehicle wraps, uniforms, installation kits, & digital ads.

The website is the central hub for education, service qualification, & conversion. It was built for clarity, speed, & trust.

User-Centric Architecture

Designed an intuitive sitemap with clear pathways for “Residential” & “Business” services, plus easy access to support & coverage checking.

Streamlined UX & Wire-framing

Prototyped key user flows:

  • Coverage Check Tool: A prominent, easy-to-use address lookup to instantly show available services.
  • Service Comparison Tables: Clean, simple tables that allow users to easily compare internet plans & features.
  • Simplified Checkout: A multi-step form designed to qualify leads & schedule installations with minimal friction.

High-Fidelity UI Design

Created a responsive design that embodies the new brand, featuring:

  • Social Proof: Strategic placement of customer testimonials & trust badges.
  • Strong CTAs: Clear, action-oriented buttons like “Check Availability” & “Get a Quote.”
  • Support Portal: An easily accessible help centre with troubleshooting guides.

Technical Development

Built on a fast, secure platform with integrations for CRM (for lead management), coverage map APIs, & a CMS allowing the VTS team to update blog content & promotions easily.

Channel Strategy

Focused efforts on platforms where the target audiences reside: Facebook (community building, targeted ads), Instagram (visual storytelling, brand building), & B2B lead generation.

Content Pillars & Calendar

Developed a sustained campaign around key themes:

  • “Why Fiber?” Education: Explaining the benefits of Fiber vs. Cable/LTE with simple graphics.
  • Community Connection: Highlighting local events, team members, & the areas VTS serves.
  • Customer Stories Showcasing testimonials from happy residential & business customers.
  • Promotional Drives Limited-time offers to incentivise sign-ups in new service areas.

Creative Suite Design

Produced a library of branded templates for static posts, carousels, stories, & ensuring consistent brand recognition across all content.

Advertising & Targeting

Executed highly targeted paid campaigns based on geographic location (targeting specific neighborhoods) & demographics, driving traffic to the new website’s pages.
